Who We Are

Michigan College of Beauty, a Pivot Point Legacy Partner School, is
independently owned and not affiliated with any other schools. As
one of the first Pivot Point member schools, the school was founded
in 1965 by Mr. Armand, a hairstylist and a salon owner, who dedicated
himself to providing the best training possible for individuals
entering the beauty industry. In 1997 his son, Mr. D, became the
second generation owner, who continues to fulfill his father’s vision
and directs the school in his honor.

The beauty industry offers a wide range of opportunities to suit a variety of interests and needs. Our mission is to train and prepare students for entry into the beauty industry. Since our inception, Michigan College of Beauty takes pride in our graduate’s ability to meet the requirements of the Michigan State Board of Cosmetology. We endeavor to generate quality students who will be a credit to our school and the industry.

Quality Education You Can Trust

Michigan College of Beauty is licensed by the State of Michigan Board of Cosmetology. Having met all standards, we are accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS), who is recognized by the United States Department of Education as a national accrediting agency for post secondary schools and programs of cosmetology arts and sciences.
