Michigan College of Beauty is nationally accredited by National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (N.A.C.C.A.S.), who is recognized by the United States Department of Education as a national accrediting agency for post-secondary schools and programs of cosmetology arts and sciences. Having met the standards set by NACCAS, Government Pell Grants and Direct Student Loans are available for those who qualify.
The first step to applying for Financial Aid is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA@) at studentaid.gov using our school code 014295. Our Admissions team is available if you require assistance exploring your financial aid options.
Scholarships and grants are periodically offered by private organizations, businesses, or foundations with varying amounts and eligibility criteria.
Need-based financial aid that does not require repayment, typically awarded based on financial need and sometimes academic performance.
Loans provided by the Federal Government with fixed interest rates and flexible repayment options.
(Direct Subsidized Loans, Direct Unsubsidized Loans, and Direct PLUS Loans).
